SUMMER IS THE BEST.
It really is though. All short shorts and strapless dresses. Open-toe shoes and open-back shirts. Everyone walking around barely dressed and killing it. And then we all go to the beach! And go swimming! And eat popsicles! And then BBQ. Mmmm BBQ. I need some patio lanterns. I need a patio.
Canadians have a very particular appreciation for summer, as it doesn’t last long and follows almost 6 months of winter. We really know how to use our weekends and our nights after work. Right now I’m going walk around the neighbourhood in my short shorts looking for strangers’ cats to pet. Time well spent.
